Gearbox is one of the indispensable components of mechanical transmission. Its main function is to transform the speed of the motor or other power source into the torque and speed required by the load through gear transmission. At the same time, the gearbox can also increase the torque of the output shaft, reduce the load on the motor, and improve the service life and reliability of the machine.
The basic structure of the gearbox is composed of input shaft, output shaft, gear set, bearing, casing and other parts. Among them, the gear set is the core part of the gearbox and the main part of the energy transmission. The structure of the gear set includes two or more gears that transmit power and motion through meshing. The input shaft and output shaft of the gearbox can be set at any position as required to achieve different mechanical layouts.
The main function of the gearbox is to realize the transformation of parameters such as speed and torque through the combination of different gears.
